Lemoenkloof
Paarl, Cape Winelands
- Charming guest house in a listed Cape Dutch monument
- Comfortable rooms and intimate personal attention
- Cosy dining room, relaxing garden and refreshing pool
Lemoenkloof is a rose-filled guest house in a restored listed building in the town of Paarl – perfect for enjoying the region’s wine farms and restaurants and for cultural and active forays throughout the winelands area.
Victorian is the natural choice of fancy dress – and boy is it fancy. With an obscene array of floral patterns and colours making up the main living areas, the rooms are toned down and minimalist by comparison.
With just 20 rooms, intimacy and personal attention are guaranteed. The rooms all come with en suite bathroom, TV with local channels, mini bar, tea and coffee facilities, safe, direct-dial telephone and air conditioning.
Built in the early 1800s with many original features, the guest house has a cosy dining room - with fireplace to enhance that hearty winter breakfast - that opens onto the secluded rose-scented garden. Surrounded by large trees, peace and quiet will be complete.
The pool is a bright mosaic-tiled sanctuary and the rose garden and sun terrace will do their bit to make sure you enjoy the tranquillity of an intimate and personal guest house, minutes from world-famous wine farms, golf courses and nature trails.
