There is so much to see, so much to do, and even if you’re here for a year, so little time. The Garden Route is best explored in your own time at your pace and you’ll find it easy to navigate and off the highways the pace is stately. The roads are excellent and well sign-posted in English and it’s worth reading the rare Afrikaans versions for a snigger. In your enquiry - contact us - let us know you want to hire a car and we’ll get you the best deal with a major international rental company. |

The Garden Route is a relatively safe area, but always be vigilant and use common sense when walking or exploring the region. Chances are you’ll be either close to the action, making for a pleasant walk, or very far from the action, making for a very pleasant drive – unless traipsing over mountains and dodging wild animals is your kind of thing. |

An easy way to explore the Garden Route is with our tours. We use reputable gay-friendly operators with guides who are knowledgeable, friendly and really quite like their jobs. Enquire about our tours around the Garden Route and we’ll be happy to help. |

Just say the word in your enquiry - contact us - and we will arrange transfers from airport to hotel and back again; if you prefer to go it alone the airport is the best place to pick up your hired car. |

While self-drive is recommended, the larger towns do have a few taxi operators and if you’re a little way out, your hotel will arrange a shuttle for you. |
