Exeter Leadwood Lodge
Sabi Sands, Greater Kruger Park
- Stylish luxury in the Exeter Game Reserve
- Contemporary design and four enormous suites
- ‘Magnificent seven’ game viewing and a fascinating wildlife encounter
Exeter Private Game Reserve has four lodges, each with a distinct theme and offering different levels of luxury and all offering unparalleled wilderness experiences.
Leadwood Lodge is the most luxurious and exclusive in the Exeter portfolio. The contemporary design is a raw mix of crushed rock, rough concrete, polished granite, dark wood and clear glass. Soft earth-toned fabrics and comfortable furniture contrast with the bold structures.
The four suites are enormous stone and thatch constructions with wrap-around decking, private plunge pools overlooking the Sand River and amenities suitable for a five-star hotel.
A full game-viewing agenda is available with morning and evening game drives, bush walks and bird watching opportunities. The wilderness, wildlife and scenery are spectacular and your ranger and his tracker will provide colourful details about the complex eco-system.
Sabi Sands shares a fenceless border with the Kruger National Park and has a 64,000 hectare footprint. Packed with the ‘magnificent seven’ - lion, leopard, elephant, rhino (white and black), buffalo, cheetah and wild dog – and hordes of lower profile beasts, hundreds of bird species and thousands of indigenous plants, Sabi Sands is one of the best nature reserves in the country.
