Both Victoria Falls and Livingstone airports welcome several regional daily flights from South Africa, Windhoek, and Botswana, and there are plenty of private charters working the major routes. But why fret about the details? Drop us a line - contact Out2Africa - and we’ll organise everything for you. |

Just say the word in your enquiry - contact Out2Africa - and we’ll arrange for your hotel to send a friendly driver to pick you up from the airport; you can also pick up your hired car at the airport. |

If you’re not into tearing around the countryside and more into tearing into each other, a car may well be an unnecessary surplus as the hotels and tour operators provide transport. The road network in the area is excellent – for Africa – and you can get to Vic Falls through Zambia, Botswana and, fuel-crisis permitting, Zimbabwe. In your enquiry - contact us -, let us know you want to hire a car and we’ll get you the best deal with a major international rental company. |

Livingstone’s lodges are spread out along the 10km of river to the falls while on the other side, in Vic Falls, you can walk to the falls from the town but most of the exclusive lodges are a long way out. So, unless you have a penchant for heat exhaustion and a primal affinity with elephants and buffalos, walking should be your least preferred mode of travel. For safety reasons, both natural and man-made, walking after dark should be restricted to the less badly lit tourist areas. For a thorough exploration of the area, combine a bit of fun with exercise by hiring a bicycle or scooter for the day. |

Public transport is a bit of an oxymoron in these parts but you can hail a rickety old cab from the taxi ranks in both towns and, for a king’s ransom, they will take you almost anywhere - slowly. |
