Itinerary
Day 1 - 5: Cape Town
Pick up your hired car on arrival at Cape Town Airport and drive to your hotel in De Waterkant – about 20 minutes if you don’t get too lost. Cape Town and the whole region are easy to navigate and the roads are well sign-posted – but do get hold of a good street map beforehand.
You’ve got five nights in Cape Town. A year is not enough but you may as well start somewhere. Within walking distance from all the gay clubs, bars and restaurants you may never leave the gay village; talk to us about day trips and excursions if you want to experience the best that Cape Town has to offer.

Day 6 - 10: Knysna
Take your time driving to Knysna – you can do it in five hours or five days. Follow Route 62, which is the scenic alternative to the dual-carriageway N2, and meander through wine farms, mountain passes and the stark Karoo en route to the beautiful little seaside town of Knysna.
Explore the region at will. There is plenty to see and do both indoors and out and you’ll never be far from some spectacular scenery. Don’t miss: the beaches, whales, nature trails and a feast of eating, drinking and romancing.

Day 11: George or Cape Town
On your final day, you can trundle along to George Airport and continue from there; or you can squeeze the last remnants of fun from your romantic escapade and drive all the way back to Cape Town.
