• Sprinklings of Fairy Dust: Ilala Lodge • Heaps of Fairy Dust: Victoria Falls Hotel
Day 3 - 4: Chobe National Park
After a scenic transfer of up to two hours – depending on what you see along the way – you will arrive in time for orientation and a fabulous lunch at your lodge. The afternoon game drive stops for sundowners and returns by nightfall.
Chobe is famous for its large herds of elephant, abundant riverine bird species and Africa’s ‘magnificent seven’. Activities include game drives, sunset river cruises and water safaris in traditional mekoro and delta boats.
• Sprinklings of Fairy Dust: Chobe Game Lodge • Heaps of Fairy Dust: Chobe Chilwero
Day 5 - 6: Okavango Delta
After your final game drive and breakfast you will transfer to your Okavango Lodge. The flight is one and half hours in a light aircraft followed by a game drive to your lodge in time for lunch, a doze and an evening game drive.
The Okavango Delta is home to all of Africa’s big game and during high water from May to September most of your safari activities are in delta boats and traditional dug out mekoro canoes.
• Sprinklings of Fairy Dust: Camp Moremi • Heaps of Fairy Dust: Chiefs Camp
Day 7: Joburg
A final morning game drive and a big breakfast to see you through the transfer back to Joburg. Your route home goes via Chobe from where you will transfer by road back to Victoria Falls Airport and on to Joburg, arriving at 15h30.
